I hope the first week of class is going great for everyone in Memphis! I am looking forward to seeing you guys. I stumbled upon this really interesting take on mindfulness a few weeks ago. Andy Puddicombe has an awesome TED talk and also has recently developed a mindfulness app called headspace. You can try it out for 10 days at no cost and, if you ended up liking the app, the cost for the yearly subscription is actually really reasonable. While it doesn't necessarily unplug us completely from our phones or computers, it does offer a cool take on taking time out of the day to practice being present in the moment. :) I'd love to hear what you guys think about it if you try it out.
